About Us

Dear Parents,

I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I am the owner and Executive Director of The Berry Patch Early Learning Center. While I began my educational journey much as you probably did, I always had a passion for teaching and a thirst for learning.  My undergraduate studies were based in education and psychology and  I earned a Bachelor of Arts with a teacher certification. I began my career as a special education teacher and taught elementary students for seven years while I pursued a masters degree in special education,  with a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant certification. I then served as a member of a multidisciplinary child study team for a vocational school. Still fueling my passion for education, I continued my post graduate studies and earned certifications as principal and supervisor. Currently I am the Director of Special Services for a prek-12 school district and serve as a member of a preschool advisory council. 

I was elected to the Readington Township Board of Education and served six years including one as vice president and two as president.  I have been immersed in all aspects of educating our future leaders. 

The Berry Patch Early Learning Center is a reflection of all the many years of educational experience I have been fortunate to gain. I believe it is important for our  perspective families to know that their child/children are in a safe, nurturing environment, rich in curriculum and hands on experiences under  the leadership of a seasoned  educator. The primary goal of our professional staff is providing for your child/children academically, socially and emotionally. We are dedicated to providing a daily experience that meets each child’s individual needs in an environment that provides for creative learning experiences.
