Dear Parents and Guardians,

Thank you for expressing interest in our Kindergarten Program.  The Berry Patch is so excited to be able to work with your child through another milestone in their life, Kindergarten!  Our Kindergarten Program is designed to establish a strong foundation for learning by promoting enriching social, emotional, and academic learning experiences that will better prepare students for First Grade.  At the Berry Patch students enjoy learning, feel free to ask questions, work together to solve problems, and most importantly gain confidence in themselves!  Our small class sizes ensure that every student will receive personalized instruction at their own developmental and academic level. We value that every child is different and desires to be challenged. 

Throughout the year, students will be focusing on Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Spanish, Art, Music, and Physical Education.  Our Kindergarten Program is a combination of the Readington/Flemington-Raritan School Districts Kindergarten Curriculum and NJ Core Curriculum Content Standards.  Through the implementation of an agenda of academic excellence, we hope to instill a lifelong love of learning in our students. The course of study at the Berry Patch is not only academically rigorous but also a safe and nurturing environment for young minds.
